Rob Stofer
Rob is a principal of Tekton Group and serves as Head of Acquisitions. Rob is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, underwriting, financing, and closing of the firm’s acquisitions and developments, as well as portfolio management and identifying new partnership opportunities.
Prior to joining Tekton, Rob was a principal & managing director at Magnetic Capital, a Denver-based real estate developer and operator. Before moving to Denver, Rob was based in New York City and served as a Director on the Investment Management group at Rialto Capital where he was responsible for equity & debt originations. He previously held a similar role as a Vice President at PCCP, a leading private equity fund manager with $23 billion in AUM. During his tenure at PCCP, Rob closed 40 transactions in 12 states across industrial, multifamily, office, retail and hotel property types. Prior to PCCP, Mr. Stofer was responsible for restructuring & workouts at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., where he managed a portfolio of commercial real estate assets throughout the U.S. Mr. Stofer joined Lehman Brothers in 2007 as a member of the Global Real Estate Group, where he structured and underwrote conduit loans for Lehman’s CMBS issuances.
Rob is an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and currently serves as a Governor of the NAIOP Research Foundation. Mr. Stofer received his B.S. from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University with a concentration in Real Estate Finance.
Rob is a Minnesota native and enjoys alpine skiing, golf, water sports and just about anything else outdoors.
