Chris McBride
Chris is a principal of Tekton Group and serves as Head of Development and Redevelopment. With over 25 years of experience in the construction and real estate industries, Chris has spearheaded the successful repositioning and construction of over 250 multifamily units, $3.5mm of Capex projects and over $60mm in multifamily real estate assets in the last decade.
Chris’ core mission at Tekton is to drive asset value from a physical standpoint. He achieves this by combining his expertise with numbers, project timelines and a vast array of building systems to shepherd projects to rapid completion while maintaining the highest level of industry standards. With a firm belief in the intersection of current design, value engineering and risk mitigation, Chris’s involvement in all stages of the acquisition, repositioning and development life cycles help ensure that Tekton Group is always in a position to achieve the highest possible return for investors on an asset.
Prior to joining Tekton, Chris was formerly the owner/operator of CAM Construction, a design/build remodeling company specializing in high-end custom renovation projects for residential homeowners. From its founding in 2005, CAM Construction was responsible for over 300 successfully completed projects in the metro Denver area. During this time, Chris honed the ability to problem solve and perform under pressure, while fostering an environment of collaboration and trust with homeowners that he continues to bring to all aspects of life.
Chris earned a BA in Economics and Sociology from Tufts University. When not at work, you can often find Chris working out, building things with his hands, playing golf, or simply relaxing on the nearest lounge chair sipping top-shelf Tequila.
